The cost is actually pretty cheap. BluRay players used to cost a way lot more than PS3's. And for a console, the has 8 proccessers (xbox 360 has 3), there is a lot of potential. However, what I've seen for the ps3 so far, are games that are still running with the ps2 in mind. I feel that the ps3 is exactly like windows vista. They both tried to implement waaay too much, and it just became a load of shit.
And I still play my old ps1 from time to time, for teh classics.

Ewww, Playstation just sucks IMO, I give it Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy are the only worth while games for PS1,2 and 3.
